The idyllic valley of the Moomins lives in tranquility. But appearances are deceiving. The intrusion of a band of pirates whose ship has run aground on the reefs will disrupt the Moomins’ tranquil life and give them a thirst for adventure. Accompanied by Snorkmaiden and Little My, the Moomins embark on a small sailboat. Their journey will threaten the very unity of the family.
