ANNOUNCEMENT – New pricing starting in September
Since its inception, Cinéma Public has been committed to facilitating access to culture by developing a locally-based cinema rooted in its community. This commitment to accessibility has always guided our decisions, particularly when it comes to keeping ticket prices as low as possible.
Managing a non-profit cultural organisation means, among other things, recognising the measures that need to be taken to ensure its longevity. It is with this in mind that we have decided to adjust our ticket prices.
As of September 1st, 2025, our new prices will be as follows:
- General admission: $12
- Students and seniors (65 and over): $10
- Children (16 and under): $8
This adjustment is essential to enable us to continue doing what we do best: showcasing bold, inspiring and engaging perspectives on the world and bringing the magic of cinema to life in the theatre.
Holders of cinema cards purchased before August 6, 2025, can claim a free ticket to one of our regular screenings at Casa d’Italia at the normal rates. This offer is valid until December 31, 2025, on site only, subject to availability.

About our ciné-cartes
Our ciné-cartes have no expiration date and are available online or on site at Casa d’Italia. A physical card can be produced upon request at Casa d’Italia.
The number on your ciné-carte is alphanumeric and should not be confused with your invoice number. To use your ciné-carte in our online box office, click on “Use a gift card” at the time of the transaction.
If you have a ciné-carte for students and seniors, be sure to select that type of ticket when making your online purchases. A student ID or proof of age may be required on site.
*Our ciné-cartes are equivalent in value to six tickets at the rates of our programming at Casa d’Italia. You can use your ciné-carte for our outdoor screenings at the Livart, but the specific rate for this programming will apply.
