Through the amateur and anonymous films he has collected since childhood, a filmmaker looks back on his turbulent life. In these fragile, funny and moving images, snippets of past stories and emotions, he sees his own history and that of his family, marked by an obsession with cinema and sex.

Since his childhood, the co-director of the mythical C’est arrivé près de chez vous has been collecting film reels. Thanks to these moments of life of anonymous filmmakers and these traces of preserved emotions, he reconstitutes the adventure of his family. With Et j’aime à la fureur, André Bonzel declares his love for cinema. With an original score by Benjamin Biolay, he tells a story that could be ours.
