Aaju Peter is a force of nature. A Greenlandic Inuit lawyer and activist, she defends the human rights of the Arctic’s indigenous peoples and fiercely protects her ancestral lands. She strives to bring her colonizers to justice, both in Canada and Denmark, and fights to make Westerners question themselves and take personal responsibility for the imposition of their colonial ways.

In this documentary, director Lin Alluna travels alongside Aaju as she delves into the social and personal rubble of white domination. She seeks the strength – in her abilities, her community and her own vulnerabilities – to transform her trials and painful experiences into a struggle for her community.
