In a bustling Mexican household, seven-year-old Sol is swept up in a whirlwind of preparations for her father’s birthday party, led by her mother, aunts and other family members. As the day progresses, towards an event both anticipated and dreaded, Sol begins to grasp the gravity of this year’s celebration. As daylight fades, the young girl understands that her world is about to change radically.
