Tampopo, a young widow, runs a mediocre noodle soup restaurant in a working-class district of Tokyo. She struggles bravely and aspires only to an honest life, until the day when a cowboy-like truck driver, Goro, enters her life. Together, they will try to elaborate the ultimate ramen recipe.
