A family mediator attempts to resolve the crisis that is raging within Joseph’s household. Ever since Roxanne left him, he prohibits her from seeing their son Mathieu and sequesters him in their countryside house. Numbed by the silence and the emptiness brought about by Roxanne’s departure, Joseph and Mathieu slip into the abyss.
