Turkish-German feminist lawyer Seyran Ateş is one of the first female imams in Europe, and she is fighting for a Muslim sexual revolution. For Seyran, the only way to counter radical Islam is from within. That’s why in her progressive mosque, there is no gender segregation or exclusion based on the gender or sexual identity of the faithful. Seyran’s quest takes her on a journey around the world, meeting different people bound by faith: from sex workers in a German brothel to LGBTQ Uighur youth to women imams in China. A documentary that aims to respond to extremism by advocating peace and love.
