On the eve of her first show, singer-keyboardist Sasha must deal with the sudden return of her mother Elena, a whimsical and self-destructive Russian immigrant. Still haunted by bulimia problems dating back to her childhood and inhabited by the uneasiness that arises from every gesture of this well-intentioned but unstable mother, the young artist will try to adjust as best she can to this impromptu reunion with nebulous motives.

This film was chosen by Renée Beaulieu, director of INÈS, as part of our Cinéastes cœur à cœur series.
