Although Mary has little money, she always finds a way to spend her nights partying. After being arrested at an illegal party, she asks an aunt to bail her out. Aunt Judy finds her a job in her library so she can pay her back. Mary finds herself torn between the dramatic world of Manhattan nightlife and the monotonous reliability of a career. She will have to start becoming a responsible adult, while trying to stay true to herself.
