La ville d'un rêve
Montreal was born from a dream, the dream of people who believed in the possibility of creating a better world in New France. Who were these people? What ideals did they pursue and why? The answers can be found in a 17th century manuscript that is believed to be the hidden memoirs of Jeanne Mance. With an original and personal look, the filmmaker revisits this story where the past resonates with a desire to create a world closer to humanistic values.
Presented on the occasion of the 350th anniversary of the death of Jeanne Mance, with the attendance of Annabel Loyola (director), Alexis Martin (performer) and Fabienne Lucet (composer and performer).
