Caiti Lord has always dreamed of being a singer. Originally from New York, she attended the best singing schools and performed on Broadway. Far from the glitz and glamour of the Big City, Caiti exiled herself to Madrid, New Mexico. Between working in a bar for tourists and pulling all-nighters, life flies by. Caiti tells her story every day on her radio show. As madness grips the United States in the most disturbing absurdity, Caiti experiences a growing sense of suffocation. On the eve of her thirtieth birthday, her future has never seemed so bleak. What to do then, and above all, what kind of life to choose for herself?
