Growing up in a psychiatric clinic, Paul’s childhood is populated by psychiatric patients (played by a strong supporting ensemble of non-professional neurodivergent actors) who become his extended family. Through his innocent eyes, we discover how the line between patient and caregiver, normal and extraordinary, blurs into a kaleidoscope of human experience. (Goethe-Institut)
