In Monterey Pop, filmmaker D.A. Pennebaker documents the performances at the Monterey International Pop Music Festival, an event now considered a turning point in American popular culture.
An electrifying concert film that bears witness to a veritable musical revolution, Monterey Pop will be shown free of charge at the Cinéma Public as part of the Nuit blanche à Montréal. The program will be screened in a loop throughout the evening, so you can come and go as you please.
