Marty Supreme
New York, 1952. Marty Mauser, a shoe salesman working for his uncle, dreams of becoming world table tennis champion, a sport in which he excels. So, by stealing from the shop till, he manages to make his way to a world tournament at Wembley, in England. Defeated in the final by the Japanese player Koto Kawaguchi, the young Jewish athlete catches the eye of Kay Stone, a former Hollywood star who becomes his mistress, and her wealthy husband. By suggesting that Marty take part in a fixed match in Tokyo, the latter sets off a chain of events.
