Through moments in the lives of three groups of teenage girls, images gleaned from the web and live videos of young women around the world, Jouvencelles plunges us into the world of today’s teenagers. We delicately observe a hyper-connected but isolated generation, inhabited by a powerful lucidity, an inner struggle against the obsession of self-image, and a need for self-affirmation in the face of a complex feeling of alienation.
