Support Cinéma Public’s Ensemble au cinéma project
Cinéma Public’s mission is to make every form of cinema accessible to as many people as possible. To that end, we create spaces where works, artists and audiences can meet, year-round.
You can contribute by supporting our cultural outreach project, Ensemble au Cinéma.
Initiated in 2022, this project consists of a series of screenings in our cinema, located at Casa d’Italia in Villeray, for a variety of audiences: primary and secondary schools, cegeps, French-second-language classes, and a variety of community organizations working with newcomers, seniors and economically and socially marginalized populations.
Ensemble au Cinéma is grounded in our core values: the project’s aim is to present Quebec-made films, ensure their accessibility, open dialogues between artists and audiences, have a social impact by encouraging everyone to consider the issue of peaceful coexistence, and facilitate intercultural and intergenerational exchanges. Each screening is accompanied by a presentation by cultural mediators, film professionals and special guests.
This effort to increase cultural awareness and access to cinema is a collaborative one. We need your support!
