Ciné-jasettes

Over the past few months, we’ve invited local seniors to explore their memories of Quebec cinema, reflect on the theme of a series of films and select works that are close to their hearts. Ciné-jasettes, the result of this collaborative approach, focuses on the contribution of women to contemporary Quebec cinema. Each screening will be followed by a discussion with a special guest to explore the themes in greater depth and strengthen intergenerational ties. A true tribute to our culture and collective memory, in keeping with our mandate of inclusion and sharing.

This project is presented in collaboration with the Centre des aînés de Villeray and is funded in part by the Government of Canada through the New Horizons for Seniors Program.
