Jessica Forever + After School Knife Fight
Ahead of the release of Caroline Poggi and Jonathan Vinel’s film Eat the Night, Cinéma Public and Ritual Films present a programme of two films by the visionary duo.
Poggi and Vinel’s cinema is one of fractures and fragments, in which violence and gentleness are always intertwined; tender but also tenderly angry. It’s a new kind of cinema, one that appropriates the codes of music videos, video games and all that all-consuming connectivity to create a world both dreamt of and feared. A living cinema, a cinema that in the night howls with rage and love.
AFTER SCHOOL KNIFE FIGHT

JESSICA FOREVER
